A group of 15 students from the University of Arizona arrived to Viña del Mar last weekend as part of a program organized by the UVM International Office. As a cultural immersion program, students live with a Chilean host family, have their classes in the UVM campus, and participate in cultural and recreational activities.
Last Monday, August 31st, students attended seminars on daily life in Chile, living with a Chilean family and an overview of the semester’s activities. They also received information about academics at OIIE-UVM. On Tuesday, they registered for visas and had their first class: Cultures in Contact. Mr. José Promis is the Resident Director of the University of Arizona Program at the UVM International Office.
