A Roof For Chile (“Un Techo Para Chile”) is an institution headed by young students who have volunteered since 1997 to construct emergency housing and provide microcredits to enable work in basic occupations. They seek to benefit society and improve life for the poorest in Chile, by cooperative work between volunteers, businesses and the media.
A group of International Students from the OIIE-UVM participated last weekend in the "Pintatón", an activity in which they painted emergency houses for 24 families. Apart from painting, volunteers spent time with the families and played with the kids.
