Classes commenced for the UVM International Students on Monday, March 9. The International Office was filled with students making final adjustments to their schedules, and searching for their classrooms. On Wednesday evening, the students and International Office staff members met at a local restaurant called Barlovento for dinner and conversation.
NOCHE INTERNACIONAL
Over the weekend, a group of students traveled south to Pucón to visit the Villarrica volcano. Pucón is located on Lake Villarrica, and the majestic, snow-capped volcano serves as a backdrop to the city. Despite the warnings of their Chilean family members that Pucón can be quite cold, the students enjoyed wonderful weather. They returned on Monday morning in time for their first classes.
