On Thursday, July 9, the Students traveled to Santiago to learn about ProChile, an organization that handles promoting of Chilean goods in foreign markets. There they saw real life applications of the concepts they learned in their class on Market Liberalization and Trade. Afterwards, they enjoyed traditional Chilean cuisine at Mercado Central, and then concluded their trip with a visit to La Moneda, the palace where the President, Michelle Bachelet, and her Secretaries work.
